We have a '91 VW Vanagon that we've had for 7 years.  We got it from a small lot who told us it had some engine noise.  My wife ran into the original owner a few months later who said that they had run the van to death with little maintenance and his mechanic told him the engine was about to go, so the traded it in.  The van had 123,000 miles on it then.

I've used 1 qt of Lucas and 3.5 qts 30 W, changed every 3000 miles for 80,000 miles now, and I firmly believe that it's been the Lucas that has kept it together.  At 204,000 miles, it still knocks and rattles when cold, but it keeps on going.  Thanks for making a product that works!
